OpenClaw (often referred to as MoltBot or Clawdbot) is taking the AI world by storm. Unlike standard chatbots that wait for you to type, OpenClaw runs 24/7, monitoring your digital life and acting on your behalf.
In this guide, we will walk you through the process of deploying MoltBot on the **EkaivaKriti Agent Cloud**.
Prerequisites
- A Google Account (for authentication).
- A Telegram account (for the messaging interface).
- 5-10 minutes of focus time.
Step 1: Deploy the "Chip"
Navigate to the Agent Dashboard. On the home screen, look for the **MoltBot** chip. It usually appears as a featured agent template.
Click the chip to initiate deployment. The platform will automatically provision a secure cloud virtual machine (VM) for you. This process typically takes **2 to 8 minutes**.
Note: Do not close the tab while the terminal shows "Provisioning". Wait until you see the message "Open Claw started successfully".
Step 2: Authentication & Persistence
Once your agent boots up, you need to claim it. Click the **"Continue with Google"** button to link your account.
Crucial Step: By default, the agent will sleep when you close your browser tab. To keep it running 24/7 (for scheduled tasks and alerts), find and click the **"Publish"** button in the top right corner of the chat interface.
Step 3: Connect Telegram
This is where the magic happens. We will connect your agent to Telegram so you can text it like a friend.
- Open Telegram and search for @BotFather.
- Send the command /newbot.
- Follow the prompts to name your bot. You will receive an **API Token**.
- Copy this token and paste it into the MoltBot interface settings under "Telegram Token".
- Finally, send a message (e.g., "Hello") to your new bot on Telegram. It will reply with a pairing code. Enter this code in the MoltBot dashboard to finish linking.
Step 4: WhatsApp Integration (Optional)
Prefer WhatsApp? No problem.
In the MoltBot main chat, simply type: "Help me connect my WhatsApp".
Navigate to the **Channels** tab, select WhatsApp, and click **Show QR**. Scan this code using your phone's WhatsApp "Linked Devices" feature, just like you would for WhatsApp Web.
Pro Tips for Automation
Now that your agent is live 24/7, try giving it some persistent instructions. Unlike ChatGPT, it won't forget these.
